Non-Silicone Defoamers

Non-silicone defoamers are highly efficient foam control agents free from organosilicon components, with main active substances including polyethers, mineral oils, fatty alcohols, and hydrophobic particles. These defoamers function through rapid spreading and penetration of active molecules on foam film surfaces, effectively reducing local surface tension to disrupt the mechanical equilibrium of foam, while utilizing hydrophobic particles to directly mechanically rupture bubbles. Compared to silicone defoamers, their greatest advantage lies in superior system compatibility - they avoid surface defects like silicone spots and fish eyes, and do not affect adhesion in processes requiring subsequent coating, printing, or bonding. Widely used in textile dyeing, water-based coatings, industrial cleaning, food processing, and wastewater treatment, they are particularly suitable for applications with stringent surface performance requirements. Their environmentally friendly characteristics and controllable biodegradability make them an ideal choice for green production processes.
